Leading Paediatric Neurosurgeon
As a young and dynamic leading Paediatric Neurosurgeon with over 09 years of experience in Dhaka, Bangladesh, I have developed a unique combination of knowledge, technical proficiency and patient care skills. I am now working as assistant professor of Paediatric Neurosurgery at Department of Paediatric Neurosurgery in National Institute of Neurosciences & Hospital and Chief Consultant at Bangladesh Paediatric Neurocare Centre.
I have been trained up in premier institutes of Bangladesh like Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University, Dhaka, and National Institute of Neurosciences & Hospital, Dhaka. I have extensive experience in open and endoscopic neurosurgical procedures, developing sound clinical decisions, and working collaboratively with multidisciplinary care teams.
I have a demonstrated track record of successful neurosurgical operations and have achieved excellent outcomes for my patients. I am highly proficient in using neurosurgical navigation systems and have expertise in using a variety of neurosurgical tools.
I am well-versed in performing complex spine and brain surgeries, including VP shunt, ETV, Excision & repair of myelomeningocele, lipomyelomeningocele, brain tumor resections and herniations operation, Craniosynostosis operation, Moyamoya diseases operation, spinal tumor resection and fixation of broken spine.
I have also managed successfully different critical neurosurgical cases like critical head injured baby, Critical spine injured baby, children with brain abscess and different failed cases. Additionally, I have a long-standing commitment to providing compassionate and individualized care to my patients.

Paediatric Neurosurgeon at National Institute of Neurosciences & Hospital, Sher-E-Bangla Nagar,Agargaon Dhaka, June 2020 - Present
- Performed variety of paediatric brain surgeries like VP Shunt, ETV, Brain tumor surgery, Moyamoya surgery, Craniosynostosis operation, Encephalocele operation, Drainage of brain abscess etc.
- Performed variety of paediatric spine surgeries like Excision & repair of Myelomeningocele, Lipomyelomenigocele, Spinal dysraphism operation, Release of tethered cord, Fixation of spine due to any instability, PLID surgery.
- Pioneered to establish one & only paediatric neurocare centre named Bangladesh Paediatric Neurocare Centre that has helped to save the lives of many children.
- Served on various committees related to Neurosurgery
- Presented at national and international conferences on various topics related to paediatric neurosurgery.
- Authored and Co-authored 6 papers on Neurosurgery, which have been published in medical journals.
- Completed CITI program as Biomedical Research Investigator under Harvard University, USA.
