Craniopharyngioma

Craniopharyngiomas account for 1% to 4.6% of all intracranial tumors. 13% of suprasellar tumors. Their incidence represents 0.5 to 2.5 new cases per 1 million population per year. They comprise 5–11% of pediatric brain tumors. Peak incidence: age 5–9 year of age range. Benign in histology, malignant in behavior due to infiltration in neural tissue can make them difficult to cure
