Cerebral AVM
AVM is the most frequent abnormality of intracranial circulation in childhood. The child’s AVM declares itself most frequently with cerebral or ventricular hemorrhage or both. Eighty percent of children will suffer intracranial hemorrhage as determined by the syndrome of headache, with bloody spinal fluid or blood clot recognized on CT or recovered at operation or autopsy.
