Infections of the spinal axis in the pediatric population encompass a large spectrum of diseases ranging from the relatively benign diskitis to the rapidly progressive and potentially devastating spinal epidural abscess. Presentation depends on type of infections. Mostly present with back pain, occasionally fever, restricted movement, sensory and motor abnormalities .
